The mission of the VA DEQ is to "protect and enhance the environment of Virginia in order to promote the health and well being of the Commonwealth's citizens, residents, and visitors". The emergency generator allowance should NOT be broadened to include outage events! This would increase air pollution and further contribute to global climate change.
