Action Summary |
Amends the regulations to make them compatible with Title 10, Energy, of the Code of Federal Regulations. Agreement States' regulations must be compatible with Title 10 Regulations. This revision is needed to address comments received from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission that were identified in their review of Virginia's Radioactive Materials regulations earlier this year. The NRC's letter, dated September 7, 2016 (attached) requested that changes to specific regulations be made to fully adhere to compatibility requirements. |
