Description of Proposed Guidance Document Changes
The Common Interest Community Board (“the Board”) has reviewed and voted to repeal the following guidance document that is no longer necessary: Guidance Document 5331: CIC Waiver of Filing Fee for Final Adverse Decision. The guidance provides for the process for the Board to determine whether a request for waiver or refund of the filing fee that must accompany a Notice of Final Adverse Decision may be granted. As a result of changes adopted by the Board in its adopted final regulation “CIC Ombudsman Regulations General Regulatory Review” (Action 6283 / Stage 10745) that will become effective on August 1, 2025, the guidance was incorporated in to the Common Interest Community Ombudsman Regulations and is no longer necessary.
