Object to the proposed definition. What changed in the repeal of Chapter 20 that requires altering the original definition of licensure, in fact, the definition under § 54.1-300 - Definitions?
"Licensure" means a method of regulation whereby the Commonwealth, through the issuance of a license, authorizes a person possessing the character and minimum skills to engage in the practice of a profession or occupation that is unlawful to practice without a license.
Suggest the proposed language be removed and amended under 18VAC160-40-10, as follows:
B. The following words, terms, and phrases when used in this chapter shall have the following meaning unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:
