I oppose the proposed changes regarding OT/PT changes. Currently, it is best practices to include the results of the evaluation into the IEP if the evaluation does not result in services. The change would make it mandatory to place this information into the Present Level of Performance in order to receive reimbursement. An IEP is to DEFINE what services the child requires to benefit from special education, not what the child is not going to receive. This change would make it very confusing to the parent and child to write something in the IEP the child would not be receiving. This goes against the good will and intent of an IEP, therefore I'm in opposition of the change.
