I support this!

The EPPP continues to be an unnecessary and grueling barrier in our field. This exam is maintained as a critical part of the licensure process, and yet, remains an inadequate measure of competency. Personally, I invested approximately 13 months and thousands of dollars while on a post doctorate and provisionally licensed psychological associate’s salary (which is not much) to take this exam 4 times. Although my postdoctoral program offered reimbursement for study materials, we were limited to utilizing only one study program which was not very effective. The emotional, mental, and financial toll placed upon provisionally licensed folks is egregious and needs to be challenged. Thank you for providing a platform to do so.
