If a couple wants to share their home, commit to raising an unwanted child, it shouldn't matter what race, gender, ethnicity, political beliefs or sexual orientation they are.
I am saddened that many would rather hide behind their religion and their self-imposed morality than let a child have the opportunity to be raised in a warm and loving home. As a result, children are forced to grow up in foster care rather than a stable environment.
I invite those that are against same-sex couple adoption to come and tell the children that I know being raised by same-sex parents right now that their parents are not worthy of loving and caring for them. I bet you those children would all disagree.
The State Board of Social Services should consider only the interest of the child. That should be the sole factor.
