A loving home is a loving home, regardless of race, national origin, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, political beliefs, sexual orientation, disability and family status. By removing rules that protect children and families from discrimination you will essentially be allowing state-licensed agencies to decide that some races, religions, political beliefs, etc. are better than others. These factors should NOT be considered when a loving family wants to adopt or foster a child as they have nothing to do with how well a child will be cared for. As a Virginia resident I do NOT want state approved agencies to disregard perfectly good homes based solely on these reasons. Every child deserves a safe and loving home!
