The best interests of children in need of adoption or foster home placement is to allow faith-based placement agencies to continue the needed work they are doing. I have read many of the previous letters, and it is appalling how many people seem to care more about "their" rights than the needs of a child, and to not care if the many good agencies now working are forced to shut down, hurting children in need. As a former foster parent, please do not adopt regulations that prevent faith-based agencies from continuing their essential work, or that would keep me from returning to foster parenting.
