If at all possible could some of the regulators talk with service providers before changes that have a dramatic affect on clients lives are made? It just seems that several of the proposed changes have not been fully thought out or are in the best interest of the clients that we serve face to face on a weekly basis.
The proposed change of having an LMHP, LMHP-Supervisee, or LMHP-resident complete all ISP's just does not seem fair to clients that need help from service providers. The ISP's that will be written will be based on very little contact with the client and that is doing a disservice to the clients that desperately need our help. This is also doing a disservice to the licensed eligible individuals by not allowing their hours to count toward their licensure, which in turn would limit the amount of applicants applying for those positions.
