Board of Health,
Many are trying to make this issue a political one - certainly those do whose big business ventures exploit women and girls in distress - but this is a matter of protecting the vulnerable among us. Women who are being directed to these clinics are often already victims in need of nurturing care, not primitive, unsanitary conditions and practice. And without doubt, the babies they carry are also vulnerable. It would be unthinkable to allow other medical clinics across the Commonwealth to operate under the proposed lack of regulations being suggested in this debate. Why" Because everyone would consider it UNSAFE... and they would be! We should have no less requirements for clinics where our most vulnerable are going for care. Melvin Adams
