As a Licensed psychologist of color, I have learned and seen how flawed the EPPP exam is. It serves as a gatekeeper for amazing and needed clinicians from the global majority to become licensed. This exam is not a reflection of the ability of a clinician to provide care, but a barrier. The financial hardships and unnecessary stress are a disservice to the field. Ultimately this exam should be abolished, but I support initial reform such as lowering the score.
