The law should respect values of religiously operated social service agencies. Since secular agencies do provide access to gay couples, there is no need to compel religiously run services to act against their moral teachings. So, this is not about the overall good of society.
In fact, the motives behind this legislation are really part of a strategy of the pro-gay movement to win acceptance despite the fact that there is substantial inarguable empircal evidence demonstrating the profoundly disproportionate amount of substance abuse, STD's, suicide and self-destructive behavior among this population.
Perhaps legislagtors should pause and consider the reasons socieities have deemed this type of behavior as unacceptable.
The "Rights" of homosexuals who want to be adoptive parentes should be subordinated to the common good.
Please exercise true integrity and defeat this initiative.
