I strongly oppose Bill 145 and 161!
There are sufficient laws that already protect students. This is yet another gross overreach of government and it must be stopped!
The government is not and will never be a replacement for fair and decent parenting. Nor are they the authority on what parenting SHOULD be. In that, by substituting itself in place of parental guidance and basic moral training, you are directly undermining and degrading the delicate and PRIVATE fabric of the nuclear family, parental rights, responsibilities, and privilege. What this bill will further do is handicap parents and weaken family units even further. VA parents are responsible, capable, loving, and care for their families. If they are not, there are laws and procedures to deal with these issues. How will taking away parental responsibility to ALL parents, help increase safety & well being in our children? IT WILL NOT!
We do not need the government to regulate how we raise our children, nor influence our morals & beliefs. STOP GOVERNMENT OVERREACH NOW! OPPOSE Bill 145 and 161.
