There is NO reason that ANY politician would promote this ludicrous policy, EXCEPT to manipulate the vote, out of fear and deceit. Sounds like someone doesn't want to accept the results of the election...My respect for the politicians of this state continues to plummet with this latest ruse.
Date stamps legitimize the time in question wether it is a ballot or a bank deposit. In all things in life, from paying the mortgage to paying the credit card bills, the absolute date is mandatory. Late fees are determined by the date of payment. If the payroll is lat hand the checks bounce we are charged late fees based on the date stamp. DO we now get out of the late fees by claiming the date in question is wrong? In a court of law the date of events is an absolute for proof of payment or ownership of a house by closing date or eligibility for life insurance. If you can make up the date and NOT HAVE PROOF of these dates, they are thrown out of court. When it comes to votes, just like deposits into a bank account, or bill payments, a date stamp MUST be used upon the acceptance of a ballot to legitimize the system. Without a solid date you can evade late payments- (no really-I paid this two weeks ago not today) and can allow for illegal and shady actions-(I really sold my stocks the day before the market crashed -REALLY-it just doesn't have a postmark on it..so please count it!!) The reality is that ALL of these require date stamps and are just as important as the vote date... WHICH MUST ALSO HAVE A DATE STAMP TO BE VALIDATED, VALID AND LEGITIMATE.
In all parts of life the date DOES matter and is part of the legal record. The only reason you would not use a date stamp is to be deceitful and lie and change the lines of veracity. IF you were an upstanding politician, you would be all FOR legitimizing and being accountable for every vote that the CITIZENS OF THE STATE HAVE PLACED. You have the responsibility to US to prove that you are not becoming the Communist party of China or Russia in manipulating the votes instead of listening to the PEOPLE. IF you lose-work harder, if you win-good for you. I do mission work in third world countries and these are the tactics they use for the extortion of money and votes from citizens who may not agree with the prevailing party.
 You are letting your fear, deceit and your unscrupulousness show by not legitimizing the election. The rest of the free world is laughing at your idiocy and the fools of our country who think this is a good idea. Putin and Kim Jung Un are laughing at how far the politicians of America have fallen to become just like them.
Yes, the poor in character think it a good idea to fake the lines, the rest of us who are upstanding citizens prefer to do it the RIGHT and HONORABLE way. Do you care to join us? Or do you prefer to follow the pathway to disorder, disrespect and dysfunction of our system AND YOU?
