SUPPORT of continued regulation of Landscape Architects, Soil Scientists, Wetland Delineators, and I

Please stop this constant merry-go-round of annual reevaluation of Landscape Architects and other professionals that make daily decisions for the health, safety, and welfare of the general public.  Many of these professions listed are are on the cutting edge of innovation in environmental, social, and whole health solutions for the problems that plague our society everyday.  Many localities across Virginia this year have experienced record flooding and yet you ponder the necessity of wetland and landscape architect professionals year in and year out?  Do you really want to go back to the ways of the old civil engineering corps mentality of let's pipe it and send it downstream for someone else to deal with?  Let's build higher levies?  Why don't you look at some of the authors of the latest Virginia Stormwater Management regulations implemented in 2014?  You will find a lot of guidance and input from Landscape Architects and references to other States' regulations that were equally authored by LAs.

Please stop the madness already.  It is exhausting and a waste of resources and everybody's time to do this every year.  Educate yourself and your legislators.

God Bless.
