I support the continued regulation of all of the professions listed for the following reasons:

- Each of these professions has a responsibility to the public in terms of health, safety, well-being and quality of life.

- The work that people in each of these positions does has significant impacts on Virginia's environment, and if their work is done poorly or incorrectly (i.e. without proper training or expertise) they can unintentionally damage our communities, our infrastructure, our property, and our natural environment. With the threat of climate change, and the recent progress made in terms of things like cleaning up the Chesapeake Bay, we should continue to value the impact that these professions have in terms of the bigger picture of Virginia's environmental and climate goals.
