I am a professional engineer and have been involved in the land development business for over 22 years.   I see first hand that Landscape Architects have a direct impact on public health, safety and welfare.  Having qualified, licensed professionals providing these services will help to make sure the results are a positive impact.  There is a significant amount of overlap between landscape architects and other professionals like engineers.  It is important to have qualified professionals preparing plans that affect our public spaces.  I support the continued licensing of Landscape Architects.
