COVID-19 will remain a threat to Virginians for many months to come. Many Virginians also are immunocompromised or are friends/family to those who are compromised or high risk. By continuing mandatory mask wear, you reduce the possibility of spread between an infected and non infected person to 1.5%. Reusable masks are easy to make yourself and clean (boiling water), and are vital to the safety of our communities. If you make it legal to not wear a mask you are directly endangering the lives of many people and families.
