I strongly urge the Board to adopt the proposed standard with the elimination of one paragraph, Paragraph G on page 6, which allows employers to ignore this standards if they comply with CDC guidance. CDC publications are only suggestions this could undermine the whole purpose of this emergency standard.

 

Please add other types of workers to the "high risk" category, such as meatpacking and service workers. I also believe there should be strong reporting and record-keeping requirements to track the location of cases.

 

Our economy and our society's health can only be ensured if we are taking the appropriate precautions. Taking care of our essential workers saves lives.
