We are not out of the woods with the coronavirus and while a vaccination is not yet available there are many things citizens can do to prevent the spread. Masks, washing your hands, and social distancing are a great and easy way to keep the spread of coronavirus down while also allowing for the community and businesses to open back up.
Being "required" to do something is always going to rub people the wrong way but it wasn't that long ago that seat belts weren't required and this is no where near as permanent. As elected officials it is your job to do what is RIGHT and what BENEFITS the people even if there are people who disagree.
Tell people to wear the mask.
