There's nothing in the statistics or science that supports continuing the mask mandate. 60+% of deaths in Virginia are in nursing homes. There's been no evidence that people have been catching Covid in grocery stores or other places with casual contact. Most people wearing masks aren't wearing them properly anyway. A large percentage of mask wears have only their mouths covered and that provides no benefit. Additionally it's simply getting too hot and it's dangerous for people to wear masks. I've already had one friend pass out from wearing a mask. The risks far outweigh the benefits at this point.

We need to focus on our nursing home populations, making our cities safer and getting people back to work.
