No mask mandate, it's a personal choice

What happened to flattening the curve?

Wearing of a mask should not be a political issue and should be up to the individual to wear one or not. The WHO has already stated that the asymptomatic spread is very rare (forced to retract but the data still stands) and surface spread is not how the virus is transmitted. Additionally they have stated that inferior mask will not stop covid and may prevent a risk due to re-breathing any bacteria present in the lungs/mouth back into the body and multiplying its effect. Lastly, mask when worn are more likely to be tampered with (causing risk) and substandard mask are not going to stop anything and are merely about subjugation vs mitigation.

Couple these points with the fact that this virus's death toll has been over exaggerated across the board and we are no longer talking about keeping people safe but making a political point.

Proper guidance should be to stay home if you are sick. If you must go out while sick wear a mask. Leave the rest of us alone.
