As we have seen per the CDC guidelines, masks are effective against the spread of Covid19, as well as other air-borne pathogens. BUT they only work if EVERYONE wears a mask. To even think about reopening the next phase of VA without the mask mandate is irresponsible. I would expect that having a Governor who is a physician would make these comments truly unnecessary but we seem to have moved away from science and into politics. PLEASE listen to science and continue the mask mandate. Especially as we move into discussions on how schools can safely open.
