Protect the ones I love when I cannot be there myself to protect them from you

My in laws and other extended family live in VA. They’re older and some have health issues like COPD. Wearing a mask protects them as much as it protects you. It’s easy! Put a mask on your face. It’s like wearing a seat belt but you can always choose not to and face the consequences of a ticket or, God forbid, a fatal accident. Consequences of not wearing a mask aren’t immediate so there are those who don’t think it matters. Consequences of not wearing a mask could potentially cause fatal outcomes. Yes that’s extreme but yet here we are arguing over wearing something on your face that not only protects you but others because we’re all in this together. Protect the ones I love when I cannot be there to protect them from you.
