Please follow CDC recommendations, evidence-based research, and what we are currently seeing happen in the US. The southern states that rushed to open are having huge spikes and moving backward, where the states that took precautions have been able to begin sensible reopening plans. Mandating masks indoors protects citizens and helps to keep care more manageable for medical professionals. Making irresponsible decisions based on ignorance and selfishness will only leave us with longer-lasting issues and will continue to make us look foolish to the rest of the world. People have no problem wearing pants into establishments— wearing a mask shouldn’t be treated any differently.
