I cannot believe that there is a push to reopen schools as if COVID doesn't exist and has gone away. This is blatantly disregarding all current medical and scientific advice. Taking safety and best practices into account will save lives and help get our economy going faster than this idiotic push to pretend bad things aren't happening.

Schools are important to the communities they serve and should do everything in their power to inform the public and protect their students, parents, and staff. Please don't back down from scientific based best practices because a small group is stomping their feet like spoiled children refusing to eat their vegetables and demanding dessert. The lives of teachers, staff, parents, and grandparents are at stake.
