I urge the board to adopt the proposed standard with the elimination of one paragraph, Paragraph G on page 6, which allows employers to ignore this standard if they comply with CDC guidance. CDC publications are only suggestions and this could undermine the whole purpose of this emergency standard.

Please also add other types of workers to the “high risk” category, such as meatpacking and service workers. I also believe there should be strong reporting and record-keeping requirements to track the location of cases.
