Cloth mask collect bacteria and restrict oxygen intake.  No one can prove that they slow the spread as the size of the virus is smaller than even the best mask on the market can catch.  This makes no sense at all.  It also gives a false sense of security (super hero status gets assigned to the mask) this is very dangerous as people forget to do the common sense things as they think the mask will protect them regardless.
