PPE. And hazard pay for front line workers during this pandemic of Coronavirus

I am a worker in Arlington County I am considered a front line essential worker. In resent months there has been several out breaks at my job and I believe although the management has  taken some precautions  they really have not gone far Enough. They are possibly rushing into a full reopening. though it they are doing it in stages the point of safety seems to have taken a back set  to  procedure. For instance when some one is feeling sick they are sent home then when they get tested  after about 24 hours . the test comes back positive then the Procedure is to clean the vehicles and equipment then wait for an outside source to do contact tracing now that brings us up to around 72 hours after the first sign  of the coronavirus showing up then the outside sours starts to look for people who might be infected this now is way to Late. When ask why is this taking so long and why is this the way they do things they say it’s because of hippa laws. I understand the need for Privacy but it seems to Trump safety I would like to see a much tighter schedule with one Committee just focused on the coronavirus in  each department because we know the Interaction of co workers and what they most likely did and who they where with . The committee should have the right to send people that where around the infected person to get tested more over I am not sure why hazard pay is being cut it’s seems we are more likely to get infected now  then at anytime . we should keep getting it and keep a flex schedule to prevent or slow down the spread of virus it will keep us safe and insure at least some type of healthy work force to provide all the services that where classified essential Telework when possible should be a standard and not the Exception
