CDC Guidelines

I am a retired Nursing Educator Emergency Response, Infusion Nurse, and Medical Reserve Corp, Community Health Provider since 1976 , who has worked hrough every single Public Health Crisis  from the unknowns of early HIV/AIDS. to SARS, Ebola, popups of Measles, etc. Implementing Best practices in infection control and following SCIENCE as a priority.

Following Science rigorously has always been the key to management, understanding,  and mitigating public health risk , and  following the Science has always been to key to gaining control, reducing cases, and or containing spread (as we did with Ebola and SARS).

It is legislative malpractice and a failure to our children for any plans to open Schools NOT include CDC guidelines in all developed protocols.

Not only do we have a responsibility to place student safety as our top priority, those who have grown impatient and "want to get back to normal" need to understand not following the science and the guidelines of the CDC, will likely result in a rebound infection event, which will boomerang and result in even more disruption and delay to return to Normal, which will only exacerbate the crisis, put our community at risk and delay "return to normal" further out of reach
