Please fully reopen schools in VA. The data does not justify these draconian measures. Too many kids will be left home alone to fend for themselves and will be at risk of falling prey to child molesters. The mental health of children is just as important. Day care centers have been open this entire time. Still ZERO hospitalizations and ZERO deaths in the 0-19 age group in all of VA. Most of the deaths are a results of outbreaks in long term care facilities. Offer a virtual option to those who are afraid and those who are immunocompromized. Have parents sign waivers if necessary.
