DOLI does not have proper information of understand the implications this proposal will have on business. In the meat processing industry, we have been diligent and successful in employee health, protection, safety, and well being. For three months now, our teams have implemented the procedures and controls necessary, which have proven successful, of which would be undone by these regulations. These regulations are unnecessary and burdensome to allowing us to process proficiently and do not increase our employees health and safety. Each employer must currently adhere to existing VDC, CDC and OSHA guidelines, and are already subject to enforcement. To maintain affordable food and availability to quality food, we must all appose these regulations!!
