I am a private practice general dentist in Virginia Beach.  I am writing to support the VDA request for exemption for dentistry from the proposed emergency regulations for the reasons outlined in the request.  Dentistry has been on the leading edge of infection control and safety for decades, and practices have restocked with appropriate PPE and additional protective measures for operator and staff safety and instituted additional measures to mitigate the spread of Coronavirus above the already strict and extensive protocols which have been in place. Additional documentation and reporting would be an unnecessary burden for dental practitioners.  Thank you for allowing me to offer my thoughts.
