Our immune system works by being exposed to millions of organisms on a continuous basis. By being exposed to various organism, our bodies learn to resist them.   It is controversial whether or not masks work.  If they DON'T WORK to reduce our exposure, WE SHOULD NOT WEAR them.  If they DO WORK to reduce our exposure we should STILL NOT USE THEM.  Why?  because by theoretically reducing the expose of the normal healthy population, we are interfering with the normal function of our communal immunity.   By doing that, we will prolong the existence of any virus in the population, thus putting more people at risk then if herd immunity is achieved naturally.  Therefore, mask use at best is doing nothing and at worse is making the virus a bigger problem than it already is.  Please remove any mask requirements and let our immune systems to their job.
