Excepting people with a medical need to forego masks, everyone indoors in Virginia should be mandated to wear face masks covering the nose, mouth, and chin inside public buildings. We can do little to slow the COVID-19 pandemic except to slow the spread with masks and physical distancing. Please allow healthcare providers to issue a document to people who cannot wear masks for medical reasons, to minimize hassle for these people. For everyone else, mandatory masks in buildings open to the public. Removal for eating/drinking should be allowed while actively eating and drinking only.
