In Virginia, Covid-19 has a mortality rate of .018 percent (1,602 deaths as of June 20 in a state of 8.6 million people). To compare, there were 1,813 deaths in VA attributed to the flu in the 2018-2019 flu season, a death rate of .021 percent. Those who feel they are vulnerable to the virus should wear masks, but assigning a misdemeanor charge to healthy or recovered citizens who chose not to wear masks is tyranny! Holding Virginians under a "30 Day" emergency order for 97 days for a virus that has a lower mortality rate than seasonal flu is TYRANNY!
