As a citizen of Virginia I think it is very important that I am able effectively defend myself anywhere I go, including State Parks. Crime knows no boundaries and you must be able to defend yourself and your family wherever you go. Citizens who have concealed carry permits are trained in the safe use of firearms and be definition do not have a criminal record. I see no reason why they should not be allowed to carry concealed in Virginia's state parks. I support the proposed legislation change. Thank you.
