EVV Exemption for Live in Caregivers

There is not a day that goes by that I'm grateful for keeping my mother at home and out of nursing homes.  The waiver that allows us help to do so is a Godsend. That is where it ends. We constantly are trying to set alarms to remind ourselves to clock in and clock out. As a live in caregiver to my mother and a full time business owner, i struggle daily just to provide good care. I an constantly on duty and find myself more times than not breaking the rules by forgetting to sign in or out. Getting up at 5:30am to shower and dress. Often having to run to my moms room if she's ringing her bell then to bath and dress her and get breakfast and toiletries all while trying to lug my phone around to stay compliant in a system that works some of the time.

The Evv should be for someone coming in an out of the home not for a person who is truly on duty 24 hours a day.
