I support an amendment to the regulations to allow the lawful carrying of concealed handguns with a concealed handgun permit at State forests.

However, regulations ought to be consistent with regulations in other public places.  Therefore, State Forests ought not have any regulation interferring with the right to open carry a handgun. 

I urge you at this time to consider amending the regulations to be  in line with other laws regarding possession of handguns on public property.  This will reduce confusion for the citizen as to what laws to obey and reduce inconsistencies in regulations with Commonwealth laws.
