Please Approve Concealed Carry in State Forests

Please approve concealed carry in state forests. Concealed carry pemit holders have undergone training and have been checked for criminal activity. We permit holders are good citizens, not criminals. The folks that you have to worry about such as poachers or drug dealers/growers that might use state forests for criminal activity are going to be armed  regardless of the laws. Those of us who can carry concealed will have the means to defend ourselves, our families or others. Police agencies would have a difficult time responding to a call in a short enough time to effect the outcome of a criminal activity. Carrying concealed would make it more confortable for other users of the forest. Good folks that are not firearm people can be nervous with open carry. I know I have been when I see a civilian coming into a resturant or a store with an exposed firearm. Guns can save lives and I can see no reason to deny law abidding citizens their second amendment rights in the state forests. Also if you are carrying concealed and inadvertently drive into a state forest beause the highway goes that way, you are suddenly commiting a criminal act. That doesn't make any sense at all. Therefore please allow concealed carry.  Thank you for allowing me to comment.
