Properly approved concealed carry permit holders should be allowed to carry firearms in state forests. If it's okay to conceal carry with a permit downtown and in shopping malls then why not in the state forests too. Often those places are quite remote and far from help so being able to protect oneself from foes animal or human seems fair.
