Assessment, Planning and Provider Development Needed

In Loudoun which is part of Region 2, we continue to partner with providers to ensure options for receiving services and individuals having choice of providers.  Additionally, we recognize the importance of providers’ financial stability to ensure service continuity and quality of service.  Service providers in the area have expressed concern of their ability to meet the new guidance regulation.  Provider development must be provided by DBHDS to assess the impact of the new guidance and ways to ensure service provision.   Additionally, there needs to be careful consideration of the timeline of implementation to ensure service availability.  Enacting this guidance without careful assessment and planning will negatively impact service delivery for individuals in Loudoun.
