As both a former law enforcement officer with over 20 years of experience  and a concealed permit holder in Virginia I urge you to allow any law abiding citizen to carry a concealed firearms in State Forests.  My experience has been that law abiding citizens do not make an area I visit with my family, including my grandchildren, less safe.  Criminals by definition do not follow the rules anywhere.
