Firearms in Virginia state parks

As a Virginia native, graduate of Old Dominion University, retired from a Virginia corporation, holder of a concealed-carry permit issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia, and a member of NRA and Virginia Citizens Defense League, I strongly support our state park program, but also support the individual right to the use of firearms in self-defense both within and outside of Virginia's state parks.  The Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights of the Constitution of these United States of America recognizes our God-given right to keep and bear arms in areas that include Virginia's state parks.  Right now, criminals are the only ones who carry firearms in these parks.  This needs to change, to allow law-abiding citizens to carry firearms in Virginia's state parks.  Thank you for accepting my comment.
