I strongly recommend expiditious approval of regulations to allow for the concelled carry permit holders to carry weapons in all State Forests. Failure to approve conceeled carry in State Forests would force permit holders, who are authorised to carry throughout the state, to leave their wepon in their vehicles. Leaving wepons in parked vehicles while the owner enjoys the activities would provide opportunities for theft. Regulations allowing Conealed Carry in our State Forests not only provides these cirtified individuals with the continued protection authorized by the permit, but also precludes weapon theft from parked vehicles. I look forward to rapid action to approve and implement Regulation to allow Concealed Carry in State Forests.
