For several years, now, my rooftop has been helping to fend off the catastrophy that will befall all of us if we don't severely reduce the combustion of carbon. The solar panels I've installed not only provide clean energy to our household, but also share this energy with the rest of Virginia through net metering. It's important that Virginia's energy plan build on these incentives and completely eliminate any impediments to the growth of solar energy use.
