It is abundantly obvious that we must quickly move away from fossil fuels and make the most and best use of our many renewable energy opportunities including wind, wave and solar technologies. We are behind other states in this development due to the financial and political stranglehold that Dominion Energy and it’s state agency collaborators have on this development. While Dominion makes a PR show of investment in solar, their profits are from fossils. State subsidized incentives for installation of renewable technologies to homeowns and businesses will short-circuit their monopoly.
