I oppose this restriction. I don't feel that it is right for the state to approve people to carry firearms then legally restrict such an act of carrying in their own state buildings. It is not logically consistent..

Outlaws by definition do not follow the law. So while the idea of this restriction is well intended, I do not think it will serve the purpose it strives to achieve.

It will result in legally armed individuals disarming in parking lots, therefore promoting unnecessary firearms handling in the confines of vehicles, opening a window for accidents to happen.
