I strongly oppose the banning of firearms in state buildings by lawful gun owners.  By imposing this law, you do not create a gun free zone, but a zone where only criminals have guns.  Criminals will know this and use it to their advantage to victimize law abiding citizens.  Furthermore, by enacting this ban, lawful gun owners will be forced to leave their firearms in their vehicles where they may be more likely to be stolen.
